Kite surfing: Golf Course Car Park, Borth Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: 14-17 knots Surf / Sea State: 1 foot surf Air Temperature: 16ºC Sea Temperature: 16ºC Weather: Drizzle Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Another good kitesurf session. A little more wind than yesterday, but I was
able to depower my kite and so was once again just nicely powered up. I was
able to gain ground upwind easily, so once I had done so started going for
some jumps. I made quite a few and even started landing some of the smaller
ones pretty cleanly. I also realised that I'm now hardly ever looking at
the kite, even during jumps and transitions, and have also noticed that the
slight adjustments in kite and board position to cope with any lulls, gusts
or waves are now happening pretty instinctively meaning that I'm getting
much smoother on the water.
Once again there wasn't a soul on the beach other than me. Not quite
five-stars though as the jumps weren't as big as yesterdays (mainly because
the kite was depowered) and because the sun wasn't shining!
Oh, I did get dragged a little at one point too, and my coiled leash is no
longer coiled... I think it may have exceeded its elastic limit!!!
